The Clinical Director of Smile Hub Dental Clinic, Dr Laura Fee has provided dental care in service of her patients in North Dublin for nearly a decade and a half. Dr Laura Fee qualified as a Dentist from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) with an Honours degree in 2010. She was awarded the Costello Medal by the President of the Irish Dental Association for microbiological dental research undertaken in Trinity College Dublin.

After obtaining her qualification in dentistry Dr Fee completed a Masters in Oral Surgery(tooth extractions and wisdom tooth removal surgery), Masters in Dental Implants, Masters in Endodontics(Root Canal Treatment), Diploma in Conscious Dental Sedation for nervous patients and Diploma in Clinical Education in world leading universities such as Kings College in London. She is one of the few Endodontists in Ireland qualified to provide microscopic root canal treatment under conscious dental sedation for nervous patients with dental abscesses. Dr Fee completed her Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons.

Dr Fee is a pioneer of Cosmetic Dentistry and has undertaken post-graduate Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry training in the Eastman Dental Institute in London. Dr Laura Fee provides the highest quality prosthodontic dental crown and bridgework for her patients. She provides composite cosmetic bonding and edge bonding for a number of high profile individuals and bloggers in Dublin and Ireland. Dr Fee also provides Invisalign Aligners and Clear Brace Orthodontic treatments for her patients who wish to straighten their teeth or close gaps. She is an experienced smile makeover expert.

She has published multiple dental articles in the Irish Dental Journal and International Journals. Dr Fee is a dental post-graduate academic supervisor for the Masters in Dental Implant programme with Bristol University after achieving distinction for her dental implant thesis.

Dr Fee has presented research projects at the Irish Dental Conference in 2009 and British Association of Oral Surgeons Conference in 2019.

Dr Fee was nominated for ‘Colgate’s Caring Dentist of the Year’ in association with the Irish Dental Association in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. The Smile Hub Dental Team won multiple Irish Dentistry Awards in 2022 including Best Referral Dental Practice and Best New Dental Practice. They were awarded for the Best Community and Charity Project Category due to their environmental commitment to sustainable Green Dentistry. The Smile Hub Dental Team were nominated for Colgate’s Caring Dental Team in association with the Irish Dental Association in 2021 and 2022. In 2022 Dr Fee was awarded three International Aesthetic Awards.

In 2021 Dr Laura Fee established the multi-award winning ’Smile Hub Dental Clinic’ in Bayside Medical Centre, Sutton in North Dublin. Dr Fee has provided excellence in dental care for 13 years demonstrating an unwavering commitment and dedication in the service of her dental emergency and cosmetic patients in North Dublin.

As Clinical Director of Smile Hub, Dr Fee ensures that Smile Hub Dental Clinic provides the most innovative dental treatments, equipment, protocols and materials to deliver outstanding and natural results for our valued patients.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys music, reading, travelling, cooking, swimming and pilates.

Dr. Ruth Clarke BA B.Dent Sc, is a General Dentist. She is an honours graduate from Trinity College Dublin and was awarded an Entrance Exhibition Scholarship.

A member of the Irish Dental Association, Ruth has an enthusiasm for ongoing education and is committed to keeping up to date with advancements in the field of dentistry. She has a passion for all aspects of general and aesthetic dentistry.

Ruth is known for her gentle and relaxed nature and takes the time to put her patients at ease and provide pain-free treatment.
Ruth joined the SmileHub team in July 2024.

Outside of work, Ruth loves to swim, she has swam competitively for a number of years.

Dr. Michelle Conlon is a Cork native. She graduated from University College Cork with an honours degree in Dentistry.

She is dedicated to delivering high-quality dental treatment whilst creating a positive and stress-free atmosphere for all her patients. Her kind and empathetic nature enables her to effectively care for young children.Michelleis interested in all areas of dentistry including crown and bridge work, root canal treatments, extractions, and fillings. She is a strong advocator for preventative dentistry and believes it is important to educate her patients with the correct skills to maintain excellent oral health.

In her free time, she regularly attends HIIT class or plays tennis to keep fit.

Dr. Tara, a Limerick native, is a BDS hons graduate from University College Cork. She was awarded by the university the highest score achieved on direct observation of procedural skill (DOPS) during her training. She prides herself on attention to detail when treating patients.

Tara is known for her kind and empathetic nature and is rewarded by creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for children and adults.

Tara is interested in all areas of dentistry including providing root canal treatments, fillings, painless extractions and aesthetic dentistry, improving patient’s smiles with non invasive composite bonding.

Tara is an advocator for prevention of dental disease and ensures her patients have the skills to maintain their smile when leaving their appointment.

Outside of dentistry, Tara enjoys sea swimming, reading, cooking and writing.

Dr. Eve McAuliffe, originally from Cork earned an honours degree in dental surgery from university College Cork.
She received the IADR undergraduate poster prize in 2023. Eve is thorough and detail orientated in her dental care, recognised for her cheerful and compassionate nature. She’s dedicated to ensuring that each dental visit is comfortable, fostering a relaxed and welcoming environment for her patients. proficient in a wide range of general dental procedures evil enjoys travel rugby,
Pilates and music and a free time.

Dr. Éadaoin Joy, a Cork native, graduated from University College Cork with an Honours Degree in Dental Surgery. She was awarded both the Dental Council Award for Professionalism and the Society of Chief and Principal Dental Surgeons Award for the Highest mark achieved in Dental Public Health and Preventive Dentistry, during her training. Éadaoin is meticulous when it comes to providing patients with dental care, and has a keen eye for detail. Known for her bubbly and empathetic personality, Éadaoin is equipped to make every dental visit as comfortable as possible. She takes particular interest in caring for young children, and provides a warm and caring atmosphere. Éadaoin is proficient in a variety of general dental procedures, from fillings to dentures and crowns. In her spare time, Éadaoin enjoys travelling, running and going to concerts.

Dr. Mark Rogers, a native of County Wexford, has been honing and perfecting his skills in general practice since graduating from Semmelweis University, Budapest in 2016.

With almost a decade of experience, Mark has the knowledge and expertise to guide you comfortably through your dental care.

His commitment to life-long learning led him to complete his Membership examinations for the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and subsequently, a Masters of Implantology & Dental Surgery at the International Medical College University of Duisberg- Essen in Germany.

A dental visit with Dr Mark will be warm and friendly allowing for open and clear communication putting you at ease throughout your treatment.

Outside the world of dentistry, Mark loves spending time with his young family.

Dr. Malaika Nasir graduated as a Dentist from Trinity College Dublin. Malaika’s passion lies in providing individualized and patient-centered treatments to all her patients. Malaika is dedicated to creating a relaxed and comfortable environment for adults and children. She firmly believes that a tranquil setting can alleviate dental anxieties and foster a positive dental experience for her patients.

Malaika’s enthusiasm for dentistry extends to all aspects of the field. She takes a keen interest in aesthetic restorations, crowns, replacing missing teeth and treating dental pain.

Malaika is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements and continuously enriches her knowledge and skills by pursuing courses in composite bonding, facial aesthetics and conscious sedation.

In her spare time Malaika enjoys playing tennis, travelling and sea swimming.

Dr. Ian Wong was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, having studied Psychology at McMaster University in Canada prior to attending Semmelweis University, Budapest where he completed his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry.

During his last two years at Semmelweis University, he had the special opportunity to represent the student body for the English programs including Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy giving him a breadth of experience and insight coordinating and leading a team of 30+ future doctors, dentists, pharmacists.

Eager to continue learning and improving his skillset and knowledge, he is in the second year of his Masters of Endodontics program at Chester University in Liverpool where he is learning from some of the best in the field when it comes to Root Canal Treatment.

Dr. Ian is both friendly and knowledgeable to help put you at ease and give you the best dental treatment experience. Being a strong advocate for great oral hygiene and prevention, Dr. Ian encourages patients to adopt healthy lifestyles that are in alignment with a healthy smile.

When not in the clinic, Ian enjoys workouts, hiking, basketball, and travelling throughout Europe.

Dr. Vennisa UmehBA B.Dent Sc,is a graduate from Trinity College Dublin awarded with an Honours Degree in Dentistry.

She is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a deep enthusiasm for all areas of dentistry.

Dr. Vennisa is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality care for her patients.

Understanding the importance of a trustworthy and caring environment. Dr. Vennisa believes that creating a serene and comfortable atmosphere is essential for all patients. She strives to ensure that every visit is a positive experience where both dentist and patient work together to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr. Vennisa Umeh is excited to bring her passion, knowledge, and dedication to our dental clinic, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their best smiles.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Vennisa enjoys traveling, staying fit through regular exercise, and indulging her interests in fashion and beauty. She is also a reader, always looking to expand her horizons and stay informed about the latest trends and developments in dentistry and beyond.

Dr. Burhan Vapra qualified as a Dentist from Trinity College Dublin with an Honours degree. Dr Burhan provides aesthetic dentistry in the best interest of his patients. He is experienced in providing a wide range of dental pain relieving treatments such as root canal treatments and tooth extractions. He is interested in all aspects of General Dentistry especially dental emergency care. Dr Burhan is experienced in repairing broken teeth, restoring decayed teeth, treating dental abscesses and relieving dental or facial swellings and pain. Dr Burhan is passionate about oral surgery and provides pain free dental extractions for nervous patients. He is competent in providing root canal treatment to help patients with dental abscesses and severe jaw pain save their own teeth.

Dr Burhan is very skilled in cosmetic dentistry including improving patients smiles with teeth whitening and cosmetic or edge composite bonding. Dr Burhan is passionate about delivering personalised and achievable oral hygiene goals to allow children and adult dental patients to avoid gum disease and tooth decay independently. Dr Burhan is passionate about treating and stabilising gum infections and gum disease to enable patients to prevent tooth loss.

Additionally, Dr Burhan is passionate about providing aesthetic prosthodontic dentistry including the provision of tooth coloured ceramic crowns, porcelain veneers, inlays, onlays and ceramic bridgework. He is an expert in providing removable partial chrome and acrylic dentures for patients with missing teeth who wish to restore the gaps in their mouth. Dr Burhan is very skilled at providing patients with complete acrylic dentures.

Dr Burhan is also experienced in managing adult and paediatric dental trauma cases and dealing with dental emergency cases following accidents. Dr Burhan is committed to continuous professional dental education and regularly attends national and international dental conferences. Dr Burhan enjoys learning about the most advanced research based technology that can help patients achieve their oral health goals at every stage of life.

I’ve received my dental hygiene qualification from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) in South Africa. I’ve been working in the dental industry for more than 30 yrs. I’ve recently emigratedto Ireland which is now my new home.I love people and I love dentistry. Being a dental hygienist, I get tohave the bestof both worlds. I get to make a difference in people’s lives andbe part of their journey through life. I am so fortunate to be appreciated for myrolein dentistry and society. Apart from my clinical work, I am super blessed to regularly get opportunities to lecture overseas and share my knowledge and experience in dentistry. I love teaching and value everyone who shows interest in gaining knowledge. One otherhighlightofmycareer is being the dentalexpert for a very successful online parenting company, called BabyYumYum.I’m a strong believer that we all get multiple opportunities in life. Some of us take these opportunities and others let it pass them by. I never say no to an opportunity to learn and grow. This often brings the thought in myhead: “Oh my word, how on earth am I going to do this!!!!!!!!” But then it is too late to turn around and somehow; we always manage what we once thought was impossible! I’m looking forward to meeting all new patients and beingpart of their teeth journey. With a background in cell and molecular biology, Linda graduated from the DDUH at Trinity College Dublin in 2012 where she received the Dentsply award for clinical excellence and the Colgate travel bursary award that allowed her to spend time studying in Sweden. Linda has experience working in hospital, specialist practice and general practice. Linda enjoys helping her patients achieve their best oral health. With a keen interest in CPD Linda joined the Irish Dental Hygienists’ Association committee in 2015 and worked as continuous education officer for 4 years. In 2019 she was selected as President-Elect of the IDHA and the associations secretary. Linda was IDHA President from 2020-2022. As the immediate past-president Linda now takes on a two-year term as Treasurer and also represents IDHA at the IFDH and EDHF.
